During our studies for Lifestyle Medicine Certification we came across the term Blue Zones, referring to regions around the globe where people live an exceptionally long time.
The term Blue Zones originated in a 2004 research article that found on the Italian island of Sardinia there is a special region. Inhabitants in the central-eastern area of the island simply lived longer.
Intrigued by this, we did more research and found there are other regions throughout the globe where people live healthier and longer lives.
Consistent with our passion to share with you ways to naturally boost your health, energy, immunity and longevity, we include the core discoveries about these Blue Zones into our programs.
