What's Happening in Day 3

 Superfoods and Antioxidants!?

You've been told to eat the rainbow.  It sounds poetic after all and it makes for beautiful pictures to share on social media.  But...WHY do we say that?

And what is a superfood anyway?  

Antioxidants help repair the damage to our own cells.  Our immune cells, those soldiers of ours, are especially at risk of getting injured in the fight and will need to be cared for promptly! 

Likewise, our mitochondria, the part of each of our cells working hard at making energy while "feeding the coal furnace" will also have its own burns to heal! 

In the quest for protection, there are lots of weapons and dangerous tools being used by our cells!  These regularly backlash, leading to a weakened immune system, inflammation, and premature ageing!

Learning to use food to shield and repair our cells quickly will have tremendous benefits! Supplements don't measure up to real foods in studies!
